As a label, Critical has always loved working with different illustrators and artists to create unique and innovative designs.

After announcing the highly-anticipated return of Critical Sound to E1 we wanted to make this next collaboration extra special by capturing the overwhelming emotion that will come with raving together again. 

3 months ago we got in touch with Sabrina Gevaerd, a Brazilian illustrator who describes her art "as an emotional landscape, here to translate thoughts into images".

We gave our initial idea and let her use her incredible imagination to tell the story through intricate design and colour, eventually arriving at one of our most symbolic releases yet.

It was a pleasure to work with Sabrina not only because of her exceptional artistic eye, but also due to her commitment of making sure that every little detail was expressing what we hoped for.
